Arriving in Bangkok completely unprepared I was thankful to meet Neil from Australia in my dorm who has been to Bangkok many times so I went out with him for the night.

The Esplande: Theatres on the Bay (that’s the full name) has many names, it was supposed to look a bit like a pair of microphones, but the spikey appearance had got it a lot of nicknames, the most popular for locals is durium, (the disgusting fruit I tried a few days back), not because it smells, but because durium has a spikey shell. So I got up early with Sydney this morning, he was meeting with his photography club to do a shoot of 2 models, it was a good insight into the life of a photographer and the sort of work that happens beside pressing the button to take the shot.
