Today I celebrate my 6 month travelling anniversary.

On the 22nd of March I left the UK, and I have visited Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and have started my year long working holiday in Australia since then. Read the rest! \(^u^)/ →

So for now I have now finished with south east asia and have arrived in Perth, Western Australia after meeting up with my friend Alex and we are staying in a shared house for now (with Josh and Mike).

All the warnings, all the scams, all the touts, surely I couldn’t possible rack up them all in one mere border crossing?

Well it seems the scammers were out in full force and some of them you just can’t do anything about, I shall explain…

Laos is the most bombed country in the world, mostly due to the USA heavy attacks during the Vietnam war when the Vietnamese moved into Laos in an attempt to hide.

The map to the left shows (as a red dot) every bomb attack on Laos.

One of the weapons of choice was the cluster bomb, which detonates a large bomb mid air and sprays a lot of small bombs (also known as bombies or bomlets) on the ground below causing massive devastation. Read the rest! \(^u^)/ →

Another day, another wonder. With a population of 4 million Bangkok is a busy place, the recent protests have hit worldwide headlines, but I’ve come across nothing but a load of ‘BNE was here’ graffiti everywhere. Oh and this police line up, which seemed to be more practise and getting in the way then anything else:
