I was going to take a picture of some books and claim it was a library and a photo of a wine box and claim it was a wine cellar but I thought that was going a bit too far :-P

Australia in general (outside of the big cities) is campervan friendly. Get a copy of Camps book and it lists places to stop overnight pretty much anywhere.
