Work

Just a quick note to say I’ve been featured on travelblogsites.com/ and TravelPod: the internets original travel blog.

So now I have this snazzy badge of honour! Hopefully I’ll be included in the top 100 travel blogs on there sometime in the future. If you have a travel blog, head on over and check it out!

Changes

March 26, 2010 · 31 comments

It’s time for another change on AdventureRob.com! Don’t worry, it’s not a redesign (I’m still pleased as a peach about the current design), but I will be lowering the quantity and more importantly increasing the quality of posts.

This is a sponsored post for this Travel Articles directory.

A1 Articles is a directory website and I’ve been asked to review their travel section. I’m not a big user of directories, so this format is a bit new to me.

There is definitely a mix of articles, leisure is a big part such as hotel reviews, golf breaks, winter sun, car rental, that sort of thing. However there is also some more interesting stuff like how to photograph wildlife, scenic drives whilst on holiday, activities to do when in XXX, etc.

With over 29 pages, displaying 15 posts per page, it won’t be long until there is over 500 articles in the travel section, so it’s a great place to search if you are after tips for your travel plans.

A lot of people speak fondly of Thailand, I’m one of them. It’s a great place to go, central in South East Asia and easy to get too. Living costs are as low as you can reasonably expect. Entertainment is readily available in all forms you care to imagine, and the the ones that you can’t. So why shouldn’t you go there? Read the rest! \(^u^)/ →

Things Are Going Well

I’m very suspicious of things going well, it’s not normal. Maybe it’s because I come from a country which has 85% of its days overcast run by an unelected prime minister, but when things go well it usually means prepare for something to go badly soon, and this is just as I am about to leave Perth for the biggest road trip I’ve ever done (so will be a bit behind moderating comments) and drive 4000km across a desert in this thing…

That's right, I actually own this thing
