I decided to see a few sights after booking my Mount Kinabalu climb. The main city centre consists of 5-6 long streets. A few plaza’s, food courts,and shops. It’s small enough to have charm like Sandakan, despite still being a city, this is the main bypass road just to show how busy it can be:

I said my goodbyes and final thank yous to the Chin family I had been staying with in Sandakan and caught the bus early to Kota Kinabalu, it was sad to go but making and leaving friends I make on the road is something every traveller has to get used to. Read the rest! \(^u^)/ →

The crocodile adventure park in Sandakan is cheap to get in and basic inside, it consists of different types of crocodiles in enclosures along with a few other token animals and fishes.

Returning back to land after visiting turtle island, I spotted the big Sandakan mosque. Lim picked me up from the jetty, it was also his birthday so happy birthday Lim!
