As a long term traveller with a dSLR (a Canon 500D) it can be a difficult choice when it comes to camera lenses. Of course the biggest advantage of a SLR over a point and click is the ability to change the lens and adapt to circumstances to get the best possible image. Canon has this covered with the worlds most comprehensive range with their Canon EF Lenses. However they can be on the expensive side, but you do get the best possible quality for the money.

Many people ask how to wash when living out of a campervan, some might assume that anyone who does is just part of the great unwashed. Which of course may be true in some cases. But personally I washed almost daily when living out of my campervan in Australia. The shear hot temperatures made it an essential daily task anyway, let alone spending 6-18 hours in a hot metal box without air conditioning. So I:m going to dispell the myth and explain just how I maintained my hygiene in such conditions.

I have been asked to review a hotel comparison website called HotelCalculator.com so this is what this post is about.
Firstly – it’s got a cool an appropriate name, you already know what it’s about just from the title. It is a place to compare hotel prices in the city you are interested in visiting.
