You actually made the fireworks look like they are a part of the trees there.
Doesn`t London got colored fireworks, all seems white-gold.

Yes there were plenty of colours on the night, this photo just happened to capture the white-gold colour which contrasted well with the blue/purple lights from the London eye which you can see lighting up the bottom of the sky.
