With my last full day in Singapore, I decided to do the most touristy thing possible. Visit the Raffles Hotel and have one of the famous original Singapore Sling cocktails. At SG$27 it was pricey, but at least I can say I’ve done it properly so can stick to cheap knock offs from now on.

Inside the Raffles Hotel
The Raffles Hotel is the eldest in Singapore named after it’s founder Sir Stamford Raffles in 1887 It was renovated 1989-1992 (at a cost of SG$160M) to look as it stood in 1915 the same year the Singapore Sling drink was invented.

Hey that place looks like somewhere in Vegas!
You are right my friend, classics never go out of fashion! I look forward to going to some of these places in the future :)
I wonder if anyone has noticed I put the ingredients to making a Singapore Sling upon rolling the mouseover.
