Aboriginal chief who made an agreement with european settlers

Albany is the 6th largest city in Western Australia, however that doesn’t equal to much at 33k people. Is is also WA’s oldest European settlement, outdating Fremantle by 2 years.

Esperance

So I went on the Lonely Planet forum and asked if there is anything in particular I should see on a drive from Perth to Sydney.

Pretty much everyone with experience of the drive said the same thing: Go to Esperance.

Waking up in Baladonia, just 36km away was the longest straight road in Australia, a mind numbing 146km (90 miles), but mercifully a cool temperature with overcast clouds (after a small thunderstorm the night before).
