A Taste of Eden

February 22, 2010 · 17 comments

Today’s adventure was a break from driving very far, a place called Eden looked like a good place to stop. With a population of 3,000 there wasn’t much to do or see, there was however a very nice beach.

I don’t think I need to add any more…

Now this is a catch!

We left to make a move towards Sydney to give our last day a short drive and arrived at Batehams Bay. Population 16,000 this place is a bit bigger then Eden and we arrived by a fishing area for the night. Whilst I was completely unsuccessful at fishing, the guys next to me lost a very large creature (almost 2M long) and managed to catch a sting ray and small shark (seen to the right), kudos to them!

Leaving Melbourne

February 19, 2010 · 4 comments

After a good few days in Melbourne, which I really enjoyed, it’s by far my favourite city in Australia so far (and I suspect will remain that way) and catching the movie ‘Avatar’ in 3D at IMAX (Melbourne has the 3rd worlds biggest flat screen there) we headed off to our final destination: Sydney.

Koalas and Kangaroos

Today I woke up to find I was in the middle of a market, a small car boot style event, with a quick look around I ended up buying a book, nothing like a bit of non-battery powered entertainment for a long road trip. Read the rest! \(^u^)/ →
