Waking up outside an auto-electrician’s place (probably the least glamourous place we’ve woken up on this trip so far), Darren got the starter motor on and working, we gave him a crate of beer as a token of our appreciation and he offered us a hot shower each, which I quickly accepted; there is showers on route at fuel stops, but they aren’t the most refreshing of places to clean up.
Fully charged car, bodies and laptops (McDonalds is good for that along with their free wifi) we camped beside the beach for the night again and went into Adelaide for a night tour of the place, it was Saturday after all…

I am so jealous of your adventures. How does it feel to totally skip over winter?

Skipping winter was ok, no problem with that, but missing Christmas in a cold place was very strange.
I’m sure I could get used to avoiding the cold though :-)
Skipping winter is the best. :) Looks like you’re having an amazing time. Who knew Mickey D’s had wifi?
