Flying through the Jungle

There are many things which fly in the jungle. Mosquitos is probably the first that comes to mind (can you sense the bitterness here?), exotic birds next, and maybe even flying squirrels. Humans is not normally on the list, but I went to add it to the list with the jungle flight tour.

Not using bungee cords,  parachutes, or super powers; but attached to a cable zip line, I was with Cindy and Ethan, a newly wed Canadian couple as we embarked on the jungle flight adventure.

Whilst there is 2 companies which run this activity in Chiang Mai, Jungle flight is the newer and has built a newer longer, and better course which will be shortly available too (it is completed but broucher not made up at time of publishing this article) (The other company being the more well known ‘Flight of the Gibbon’).

Abseiling down between trees is also part of the adventure to take things to different levels and views between the trees.

Certainly an enjoyable day for all after the initial nerves wore off and trust in the equipment was gained. I’d certainly do it again and recommend to anyone passing through Chiang Mai.

I did that last year In Collingwood although not a jungle but Canadian Forest. You do a tree top walk first on ropes and the the zip line back down.

There is a few places to do it in England too, but I think Jungles and Forests are more suitable for this sort of thing.
