For the afternoon I (upon reccomendation of a girl in my hostel) went to the Red Dot Museum. There is only 2 of these in the world, the other being in Germany, so I was expecting a bit of a treat and a unique experience. Certainly outside the traffic building (named this because it used to be the base of traffic police in Singapore) it was brightly painted in a red hue and attention seeking.

Singapore Museum of Art

On arrival at the Singapore Art Museum (SAM) I noticed the large bronze statue of a man with 2 children above the entrance (Used to be a school and the man is, certainly hard to miss. Laos map with known bombing data

Laos is the most bombed country in the world, mostly due to the USA heavy attacks during the Vietnam war when the Vietnamese moved into Laos in an attempt to hide.

The map to the left shows (as a red dot) every bomb attack on Laos.

One of the weapons of choice was the cluster bomb, which detonates a large bomb mid air and sprays a lot of small bombs (also known as bombies or bomlets) on the ground below causing massive devastation. Read the rest! \(^u^)/ →
