Also, finding a reputable escort trans Paris service can enhance your experience of exploring the vibrant city with knowledgeable companions.

As one of the most fascinating cities in the world and with so much to see and do, Paris is a fantastic place to visit. It’s important to know how to get around the city though in order to get the most from a trip to the French capital. From bikes and boats to underground trains to luxury transportation and black car service, using a variety of transport methods allows tourists to discover even more of Paris and see the city from every angle possible.

On Foot

Probably the best (and the cheapest) way to explore Paris is by foot. The city is pretty flat so there are no steep hills to overcome and travellers are able to peruse their surroundings at a pace that suits them. Fabulous architecture is dotted around the city, from the Notre Dame Cathedral to the Musee d’Orsay, and walking allows tourists to stop, take a breath and admire these stunning buildings.
Maps can be found on most of the major roads to point sightseers in the right direction and there are plenty of coffee houses scattered around for tourists to sit down and plan their next move in.

Rent a Vélib’

More energetic tourists can cycle around Paris by renting a Vélib’ – a bicycle sharing system that can be found all across the city at special stations. Simply pick a Vélib’ up at any self-service station for a small cost before dropping it off at any other station at some point throughout the day. The first 30 minutes of any journey is completely free of charge!
There are over 20,000 bikes available to ride and more than 1,000 rental stations meaning there is roughly one station every 300 metres throughout the city. A Vélib’ is ideal for getting quickly from one place to another, whilst cycling past all of the fantastic scenery at the same time – and the exercise is good too.

Ride the Metro

There are Metro stations nearby many of the Paris hotels and top attractions in the city centre, making it easy to hop on a tube and travel to wherever you want to go. The underground train system is clean, safe and well-lit and although many tourists might get lost at some point, it’s a quick and effective way of getting around.
Once tourists become familiar with it, they find it pretty uncomplicated and the big ‘M’ signs outside each station are hard to miss. Purchase a day or week ticket and travel around this superb system at ease to explore Paris. Underground maps can often be found in many of the cheap hotels in the city, allowing tourists to plan their journey before they leave for the day.

See the city from a different perspective by travelling along the beautiful River Seine on a Batobus. These glass-enclosed boats travel on a circular route and operate as a shuttle service so holidaymakers can hop on and off as they please. The boats stop off at eight different points along the river, including the Louvre, the Eiffel Tower and the Champs-Elysées.
A Batobus usually runs every 25 to 30 minutes, almost all year round and up to 10pm during the summer months. Visitors to Paris planning on using the service often during their stay should get themselves a 1 day, 2 day or 5 day pass. These are fantastic value and allow travellers to use the service as many times as they like.

Settled! To walk in Paris is actually the best way to explore the city (watch the movie of Ethan and Julie). This post is accurate. The photos are great and the modes discussed are really useful.

I have visited few places in Paris by Metro trains and riding cycles but not yet enjoyed water bus so far. I will plan in advance to cover rest of places with full enjoyment.
