With Love From Japan – Miyavi

November 13, 2010 · 4 comments

I must apologise for my lack of updates recently, but a full time job has kept me busy here in Japan, however I am generally enjoying myself which I’m not going to apologise for :-) The snow season is coming to where I’m living soon so I will hopefully be able to bring you photography of Japanese mountains local to me.

To make up my lack of updates to my lovely readers, I bring you a musician from Japan who I never heard of before I got here and accidentally stumbled upon. I seriously rate this guy as good a guitarist as Jimi Hendrix. His name is Miyavi, and this is the translated version of his song selfish love, so enjoy…

I work in a hotel/education facility designed to give a British like experience to Japanese tourists to pretend they are in the UK :-)

I didn’t think an acoustic guitar could have that type of sound to it. Great Song.

Me neither, I’m not sure if he has an electronic device plugged into the end, but it’s certainly good and different, which is pretty rare when it comes to guitar playing.
