AC/DC are Australia’s most sucessful band, selling more albums than any other band, including the 2nd highest selling album (Back in Black) of all time (behind Thriller by Michael Jackson) and one of my favourite bands, I just had to go see the exhibition (its first time worldwide) in Melbourne where drummer Phil Rudd is from (and the bands only Australian born member).

Members of AC/DC
The exhibition contains stage props, band memorabilia, stage dress and rare hand written notes and lyrics.

Letters and notes by Bon Scott

Posters line the walls and there is sections where you can view live performances and backstage footage, the sort of stuff you’d find on dvd’s if you collect them.

Overall this is a great place to catch up with one of the worlds top and sucessful bands, spanning a 35 year career, the AC/DC exhibition is a trip down memory lane for long term fans, and a place to catch up on influential rock and roll history for those with a passing interest in the genre, or musical history in general.
For those about to rock, AdventureRob salutes you.
