After the Sabah State Museum, I returned to the Sabah Art gallery, the lights were working this time. Inside was paintings of moden art (oldest painting here was 2006 – 3 years old), most of which was for sale. Read the rest! \(^u^)/ →

I decided to see a few sights after booking my Mount Kinabalu climb. The main city centre consists of 5-6 long streets. A few plaza’s, food courts,and shops. It’s small enough to have charm like Sandakan, despite still being a city, this is the main bypass road just to show how busy it can be:

In Sandakan I was equipped with a local map. After gathering my bearings I was already close to a landmark: the fountain. Close by was the Sandakan Museum off a court opposite the police station so I popped in to have a look around there.
