Haha, I'm tiny in it, I'm as tall as the pole holding up the front legs so just look silly and insignificent in the photo.

I saw a few others on the beach with their vehicles so was not bothered. If the water came in I would have been out of there in a snap though!

JoAnna - me too! It appears most of the alive kangaroos are to the east, and the 'roo corpses seem to litter the west.

Chris - Yes I've heard about the giant things everywhere, I saw a few, it would have been nice to map them all out and visit them, they certainly break up the outback driving. I have a photo of me with a fishing rod 'catching' this lobster :-D I avoided dusk and dawn driving which I guess is why I was a bit kangaroo deprived on my trip.

Hey mate. Us aussies have heaps of Giant attractions they aren't just animals. There's the Big Banana, Big Wool Bales oh the list goes on. A common theme for us when travelling is to get your photo taken in front of as many as you can.

Robe is kinda back where I grew up in Casterton. Kangaroos back that way are crazy, guaranteed to see even more if your driving on dawn or dusk.

I'm so glad you're seeing more living kangaroos now. I was a little worried there for awhile.
